Author Biography

I was born in Leon, Spain, where I was a teacher before becoming a full-time writer, dedicated to historical investigation and research.

With my first novel, “The veil” -an historical fiction, about the reigns of Ferdinand I and Alfonso VI, kings of León-, I obtained the narrative prize “Camilo Jose Cela” 1997.

From there onwards begun my publications.

In May of 2003 I won the narrative prize of the "City of Majadahonda" with my novel “The sources of health”.
